We organized a collective decoration lab inside the historical quirky space of Venetian circle Metricubi.  Explosions of silver + glitter + neon, meters of aluminium foil and small celestial bodies. Many thanks to our cooperators. To follow a * galactic dress up  P A R T Y !  *

The Future ?

Guess what? Yesterday in Venezia (!) there was the Italian premiere of the last Miranda July's movie The Future.* We liked it. * Metricubi wanted this (grazie Annalisa & Paolo!). To celebrate the event, we arranged a cozy Pesca / Lucky dip - inspired by Miranda's oracle. And, for a few extra-lucky people, mysterious Fludd's prizes to gain. Pink ! Fun!

"Relegata per lunghe ere in nascondigli appartati, da quando era stata spodestata dal sistema delle specie ora estinte, l'altra fauna tornava alla luce dagli scantinati della biblioteca dove si conservano gli incunaboli, spiccava salti dai capitelli e dai pluviali, s'appollaiava al capezzale dei dormienti.

Music Explosions

Two illustrations for two concerts by The Bony King Of Nowhere from Belgium, and Making Marks (former / a.k.a. Mylittlepony) from Norway. This was our first collaboration with the nice, bustling and high-quality circle La Mela di Newton in Padova. La-la-la-laaaaa.

On our last day in Bologna we visited a nice exhibition about the city itself, curated by Hamelin with the drawings of the hyper talented Bernardo Carvalho (Planeta Tangerina). And some ochra tone pictures of the Archiginnasio (16th century), once the site of the first University in the world.

Art Atak

So nice going to BilBolBul, international comic festival in Bologna! We went to a conference with the beloved Blexbolex and Atak, followed by the brilliant exhibit Mirabilia showing Atak's impressive corpus of work. He shares his vision of a booming chaotic world, extremely rich in visual quotes, with a fascinating mixture of old & new languages and media: screenprinting, chromolitography, cartoon, American pop culture, cinema and advertising, kitsch toys and traditional painting.
