Slow Wood

 Dopo essere stato ospitato nella cucina dello specialissimo appartamento di KidsRoomZoom durante il FuoriSalone di Milano, e prima a Vicenza durante Food Design, ecco più nel dettaglio il nostro prototipo Slow Wood, giocattolo in legno per comporre panini fuori dalle righe della ristorazione di massa.  Tra gli ingredienti, modellati e dipinti a mano, i classici della tradizione ma anche aggiunte punk. Grazie a Paola Noè e a tutta la squadra! / This is Slow Wood, our handmade prototype for unconventional sandwiches (=panino, in Italian) far from mass catering.

After a while, fresh & spring items are ready!  Novel colours like Bewitched Tree, Mystical Green, Light Heart Blue, Silly Fizz, Brain-Sand, Magic Powder, True Blush !  /  Evolution, Stark, Trittico and Triplicazione are new and improved versions of Materia Prima, because we think everybody needs a Philosopher's Stone at the neck, just for smoothing daily transformations and hard life tasks. This is Caterina's graphic project for her personal identity and self-promotion as an illustrator.
She drew one-of-a-kind business cards and a correspondence set (personalized envelopes + stickers with her initials). The starting inspiration could be located in the mood of J.D. Salinger's short story  "A Perfect Day for Bananafish". But who knows.

Questa è la collezione di magneti dipinti a mano presentati in occasione della piccola mostra collettiva Vicenza città bellissima, curata da Stefania Portinari nello Spazio Cogollo detto Casa del Palladio. Semplicemente oggetti estetici per rievocare le bellezze architettoniche della palladiana bianca Vicenza dopo la visita, che giocano sulla riduzione geometrica di sei tra i maggiori edifici della città: Teatro Olimpico, Basilica Palladiana, Palazzo Chiericati, Palazzo Barbaran da Porto, Villa Capra detta la Rotonda, Duomo. Buona gita! / This is the small magnetic collection we presented in the collective design exhibition Vicenza città bellissima - collecting designers' proposals for alternative souvenirs and memoriabilia dedicated to the beautiful white city of Palladio: Vicenza - UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994.

All pictures are taken by us during the last Architecture Biennale of Venezia, hosted in the Giardini/Gardens and in the gorgeous spaces of the Arsenale (the huge former shipyard of Venezia), whereas the faceted wooden pieces are made by us.
