E) studi / studies: Alice is an industrial designer and Valentina has a BA in architecture and a MA in interior design.

F) qualcos'altro dal tuo curriculum / could you please tell us a little bit about what do you do/have you done?:  We both moved from Italy after our studies for an internship, we met in Amsterdam and it was clear straightaway that among the lots of things in common we shared our passion for food: reading blogs, books, articles, cooking to amuse ourselves was just the beginning. We started collaborating on projects together and as they were mainly about our favourite topic, we decided to found a studio exclusively about it. This is how internoconcucina was born and so far we’re absolutely thrilled about it!

O) la tua colazione ideale / your ideal breakfast: A: A black coffee with a crispy croissant on a sunny balcony, while playing Billie Holiday’s records; V: a comfort bowl of yogurt and cereals, sit on my couch.

P) un bel posto nelle tue vicinanze: We advise you to take a stroll in Prinseneiland neighbourhood in Amsterdam. If you’re lucky enough you’ll be even able to stumble upon a quirky yellow submarine parked in one of its canals.

Q) cosa stai leggendo ultimamente? / last books you have read: A: Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami; V: La cucina del buongusto by Simonetta Agnello Hornby.

R) cosa ti ispira attualmente? / what are a few things inspiring you at the moment?:  Whimsical and delicate drawings by Junya Ishigami.

S) qual'è la principale difficoltà per un 'giovane creativo' oggi? / which is the main difficulty for a young creative today?:  Avoid the negative comparison with others. Our media culture constantly and restlessly exposes us to the success and failure of others. This could be highly helpful, but it could also lead to immobility and frustration. So, remember to turn off the computer more often and go out, experiencing as much as you can!

T) dimensione collettiva nell'arte e nella creatività: si, no, come? / what do you think about the collective dimension of art and creativity?: Yes, of course, but in a pro-active way, gathering forces and building something stronger together, avoiding the sterile competition.

U) cosa stai cercando? / what are you looking for: Ultimately, being happy. But it’s a long way up, we’ll keep you posted ;)

V) di che cosa non vedi l'ora? / what are you looking forward?: A: Loose myself in a place I don’t know yet; V: To have a place to feel completely mine.

W) progetti per il futuro (esagera!) / projects for the future (exaggerate!): To find a physical space for internoconcucina and to create a network with other designers who share our same values and interests.

X) cosa ti piacerebbe studiare da vecchio? / what do you like to study when you'll be old?:  A: Japanese; V: Singing.
