LUSTR / The Festival

That is the 2nd part of our little report of our last trip at LUSTR illustration festival in Prague. We really enjoyed the good quality and fresh energy.

Pranzo Improvvisato

We had happily taken part in the lovely exhibition Pranzo Improvvisato - powered by Ilaria Faccioli, Gaia Stella and Cristina Amodeo.
22 International illustrators X 22 Futurist recipes from the historical La Cucina Futurista by Marinetti and Fillìa (1930). First superexciting stop: La Triennale di Milano (September, 24th-30th 2015).

Pick Me Up London Mix

Some late pictures from last PICK ME UP FESTIVAL - Somerset House, London - 22nd April / 4th May. We were lucky enough to be part of it!

Great daily talk programme, bursting workshops, quality exhibition, neat organisation, nice people, nice textures and outfits spotted between soooooooo many visitors!

SF at Pick Me Up London

It's been a while since we were at PICK ME UP FESTIVAL - graphic arts festival at the magnificent Somerset House in central London - from 22nd April to 4th May. D) area d'azione (disegno, pittura, fotografia, animazione, ...) / your sphere of interests: Ci siamo formati come pittori, ma nell'ultimo anno abbiamo lavorato tanto a questo libro. Inoltre entrambi pratichiamo la fotografia analogica, con vecchi macchinari, più che per realizzare delle buone foto, perché ci piace la resa finale meno fredda e meno perfetta delle foto digitali. / We trained as painters, but during this last year we have worked a lot for this book. Moreover we practice analog photography, with old sought machinery, because we like the final yield that is less cold and less perfect than the digital photos.

Freshly printed and launched like a space rocket in the sky.

SPECIMEN is a screenprinted booklet about Macrocosm, Microcosm and things that we don't know.
We launch it at last bursting Pick Me Up Festival, that brought us as well as over 16.000 visitors into the majestic Somerset House in London. It took us almost one year to finish and we couldn't have done it without the mastery of Paolo Berra and Print About Me, that printed and published it.

Journey Through The Unknown

SPECIMEN is out!

A circular exploration from a single cell to one of the possible universes. A pocket map of the Unknown. The text is composed by 12 currently unsolved questions in science.

Screen-printed with fine mastery by Paolo Berra  and published by lovely Print About Me in Turin (Italy).

Change and Persistence

 Work in progress to finally reprint Gelatology Micro/Macro and a new and improved edition (a bit more luxury, we'd say) of Gelatology Change and Persistence. All the printing expertise and machines are powered and provided by Marco Tavarnesi / Inuit Editions, Bologna.
