Restless Mirabilia / The Workshop

During the GLI EXPERIMENTI weekend in nice Rovereto (Trento), we have been invited from one of our favourite museums MART Museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto (long name) to have a workshop there. We created a brand new one, inspired by our project Restless Mirabilia. It is about the creative method and the final goal is to craft an ephemeral, portable, autobiographical wunderkammer (= cabinet of curiosities).

GLI EXPERIMENTI exhibition is a remix of our past project and a new take on our creative attitude. Our installations were organized into 5 areas/values: Heritage; Union of Opposites; Analogy; Chain Reaction; Metamorphic, blended into Giulia's house furniture.

FRONDE / Dare Luogo

FRONDE is a group that believes in the art process as a tool to create possibilities and imagine new actions for the space we live in.

 FRONDE is based in Venice and is trying to foster interaction in the public space of the city through artistic interventions, promoting the exchange between different populations (residents, passers-by, kids, students and the elderly) and stimulate social processes.

Out Of Place - Making Of

We share with you some backstage pictures of our contribution for the project Plants Out of Place, directed by Studio Aikieu (UK) and Coloni (Sweden) and launched at the recent London Design Festival 2015.

The collective project seeks to engage with the wider communities to re-consider the value of wild plants and how we may utilise them to design for a better future.

LUSTR / Gelatology in Prague

We have been lucky enough to have been invited to join LUSTR - Illustration festival in Prague (CZ). There we had both GELATOLOGY 2D and the classic 3D workshops.

TCBF - Artigiani 2.0

We have been invited to join the exhibition ARTIGIANI 2.0 - part of the super-size programme of this year Treviso Comics Book Festival, along with Jacopo Rosati, Phil Toys, Fabio Tonetto and Rocco Lombardi. We set three tables with the material and visual research behind our last screenprinted book SPECIMEN, by Print About Me editions. These are some photos of the setting up.

Freshly printed and launched like a space rocket in the sky.

Star Wars / Making Of

SPECIMEN is a screenprinted booklet about Macrocosm, Microcosm and things that we don't know.
We launch it at last bursting Pick Me Up Festival, that brought us as well as over 16.000 visitors into the majestic Somerset House in London. It took us almost one year to finish and we couldn't have done it without the mastery of Paolo Berra and Print About Me, that printed and published it.

The Unconventional Panino

Slow Wood is a project born in 2010 from our love for food, fun and things that are well done. It is a manipulable sculpture that enables anyone to create unconventional and never-ending combinations of flavours and shapes, suitable for all ages.

Change and Persistence

 Work in progress to finally reprint Gelatology Micro/Macro and a new and improved edition (a bit more luxury, we'd say) of Gelatology Change and Persistence. All the printing expertise and machines are powered and provided by Marco Tavarnesi / Inuit Editions, Bologna.
