This is Caterina's graphic project for her personal identity and self-promotion as an illustrator.
She drew one-of-a-kind business cards and a correspondence set (personalized envelopes + stickers with her initials). The starting inspiration could be located in the mood of J.D. Salinger's short story  "A Perfect Day for Bananafish". But who knows.

Tediati dai soliti souvenirs turistici? Questa è la collezione di magneti dipinti a mano presentati in occasione della piccola mostra collettiva Vicenza città bellissima, curata da Stefania Portinari nello Spazio Cogollo detto Casa del Palladio. Semplicemente oggetti estetici per rievocare le bellezze architettoniche della palladiana bianca Vicenza dopo la visita, che giocano sulla riduzione geometrica di sei tra i maggiori edifici della città: Teatro Olimpico, Basilica Palladiana, Palazzo Chiericati, Palazzo Barbaran da Porto, Villa Capra detta la Rotonda, Duomo. Buona gita! / This is the small magnetic collection we presented in the collective design exhibition Vicenza città bellissima - collecting designers' proposals for alternative souvenirs and memoriabilia dedicated to the beautiful white city of Palladio: Vicenza - UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994.

All pictures are taken by us during the last Architecture Biennale of Venezia, hosted in the Giardini/Gardens and in the gorgeous spaces of the Arsenale (the huge former shipyard of Venezia), whereas the faceted wooden pieces are made by us.

 A nostro parere uno dei padiglioni nazionali più belli dell'ultima Biennale di Architettura qui a Venezia era quello belga, dal titolo Usus/Usures. Elegantemente abitato da materiali consumati, lisi, graffiati, scrostati (da chichessia) e raccolti, isolati, ripensati, dal collettivo Rotor. Con grande eleganza e sensibilità visiva suscitavano importanti considerazioni sul costruito, oltre che sul costruibile, prendendo sul serio le inevitabili trasformazioni delle superfici e le loro implicazioni estetiche, fisiche, situazionali. Il volume concomitante Etat des lieux presenta gli esiti delle loro ricerche in merito. Altro. / During the last Architecture Biennale here in Venice, directed this year by Kazuyo Sejima, one of the thing we liked most was the Belgian pavilion Usus/Usures. The charming and thorough exhibition focused on wear as a consequence of human use, the unpredictable decadence of materials, the inevitable re-shaping of already built places.

Siamo (perlomeno) doppi - sai che novità. Abbiamo creato queste decorazioni per assecondare gli umori di entrambi di noi. C'è la ghirlanda Dr. Jekyll tutta estrosa, vivace, bizzarra ed ottimista e poi c'è ovviamente la Mr. Hyde, scontrosetta e misteriosa quanto sofisticata. Nel loro piccolo (ben 3metri di lunghezza), daranno un tocco di personalità alle vostre stanze - provare per credere. Immagini e shop. /  Yes, we are (almost) double. We put together these large paper garlands for both of you: the bright, cute, funny, happy-go-lucky Dr. Jekyll and the dark, posh, esoteric, shadowy Mr. Hyde (...uhm, we agree the original novel is more subtle than this...). Paper is lovingly selected from nice Italian vintage books, every decoration is one-of-a-kind. You can meet the two here. More pics.

Ecco i nuovi ciondoli lignei Materia Prima - un altro nome dell'alchemica Pietra Filosofale. Inossidabili, infrangibili, eco-friendly, non infeltriscono e non emettono onde elettromagnetiche sospette, ma vi regalano l'aura misteriosa che meritate. In due profumazioni: monocromo vissuto o vispo multicolor. Ognuno è un pezzo unico, scolpito, dipinto con dedizione e in vendita qui. Clearly inspired by alchemical speculations regarding transformation of matter, in Italian Materia Prima sounds like "raw material" but it is also another name for the exciting Philosopher's stone.
