Pastrami Sandwich - Krachtvoer

Really happy to have participated to Krachtvoer, a super nice festival in Antwerp about food, illustration, design and much more.
Caterina made the illustration for the "Pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut on false flax seed bread".

Spollo Kitchen

This is our yummy contribute to Spollo Kitchen project, by CTS grafica, in collaboration with AIAP, ADCI and Polyedra. Our illustration has been selected, cooked (by Osteria Il Gufo, Perugia), photographed, tasted and exhibited in two special events in Rome and Milan (next 24th October).

SPECIMEN - Personal Exhibition

Very excited about SPECIMEN - our very first personal exhibition at Galleria Van Der in Turin, opened June 12th.
We decided to underline the common creative process behind our diverse projects.

Gelatology in Ljubljana / 1

We're just back from the supernice Ljubljana for the Slovenian stop of our Gelatology Project, composed by a banquet with an edible installation, plus a workshop in the afternoon (next post). Cooking and wine by Dapes (with the help of Stefano and Agnese). So fun - and challenging. We'll back there again soon.

Some pictures from the opening of the exhibition PERSONAL TASTE, My-Self Gelato on 26th March at Inuit Bookshop in Bologna. 12 bright illustrators from 8 countries presented 12 very personal versions of an ice-cream cone.

A RISO-PRINTED CONE-SHAPED EXHIBITION !

A fresh selection of European illustration. The ice-cream cone - an object both crunchy and creamy, geometrical and shapeless - becomes the model for a complexity difficult to categorize. A variety of artists and illustrators present their own personal creamy version through the smoothness and zest of the Risograph print technique.

The second episode of Gelatology itinerant workshop on creative methodology took place in the nice A plus A gallery, with our Pop Up Dom friends. You can find the colorful outcomes in the dedicated tumblr.

GELATOLOGY   I multigusti del visivo / The many flavours of aesthetics

Through the metaphor and the model of an ice-cream cone we explore milky geometries and marbled combinations of matter. The workshop offers a taste of Studio Fludd's creative methodology, allowing participants to experience a process which begins by collecting and re-elaborating differing types of stimuli and concludes with a visually effective material product.

Matter Matters / The Chef

Lucky us! We had the chance to visit at work Daniele Zennaro, chef of the renowned restaurant Vecio Fritolin in Venezia, close to the Rialto bridge. He prepared for us three wonderful dishes from the holiday menu (+ a little interview to follow), all exploring different consistencies and tasteful transformations of matter.

Celebrating a year of projects, paper, pictures, wood, expectations, failures, aesthetic fights and applied arts in Venice.

During these holidays we'll try to do our best (# family, overeating, moderate boredom). The pictures are of our little party in the studio of last Friday.

Tasty Shapes

We are glad to be with two projects at PROGETTO CIBO - La forma del gusto by Beppe Finessi, exhibited in the quality MART museum in Rovereto (Trento) - investigating the multiple relations between food and design. Our Slow Wood sandwich and our pasta shaped Avventurina from our last Opuscula Miscellanea are in really good company!
