NEW visual education workshop for kids with CAMERA - Centro italiano per la fotografia of Turin. We experimented with the photographic tool to generate bizarre and unpredictable versions of the classic fairy tales we know.

Restless Mirabilia / The Workshop

During the GLI EXPERIMENTI weekend in nice Rovereto (Trento), we have been invited from one of our favourite museums MART Museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto (long name) to have a workshop there. We created a brand new one, inspired by our project Restless Mirabilia. It is about the creative method and the final goal is to craft an ephemeral, portable, autobiographical wunderkammer (= cabinet of curiosities).

It is heartwarming when brief encounters concretize into projects or - better in our case - experiments.
GLI EXPERIMENTI exhibition is a remix of our past project and a new take on our creative attitude. Our installations were organized into 5 areas/values: Heritage; Union of Opposites; Analogy; Chain Reaction; Metamorphic, blended into Giulia's house furniture.

FRONDE / Dare Luogo

FRONDE is a group that believes in the art process as a tool to create possibilities and imagine new actions for the space we live in.

 FRONDE is based in Venice and is trying to foster interaction in the public space of the city through artistic interventions, promoting the exchange between different populations (residents, passers-by, kids, students and the elderly) and stimulate social processes.

LUSTR / The Festival

That is the 2nd part of our little report of our last trip at LUSTR illustration festival in Prague. We really enjoyed the good quality and fresh energy.

LUSTR / Gelatology in Prague

We have been lucky enough to have been invited to join LUSTR - Illustration festival in Prague (CZ). There we had both GELATOLOGY 2D and the classic 3D workshops.

TCBF - Artigiani 2.0

We have been invited to join the exhibition ARTIGIANI 2.0 - part of the super-size programme of this year Treviso Comics Book Festival, along with Jacopo Rosati, Phil Toys, Fabio Tonetto and Rocco Lombardi. We set three tables with the material and visual research behind our last screenprinted book SPECIMEN, by Print About Me editions. These are some photos of the setting up.

Pranzo Improvvisato

We had happily taken part in the lovely exhibition Pranzo Improvvisato - powered by Ilaria Faccioli, Gaia Stella and Cristina Amodeo.
22 International illustrators X 22 Futurist recipes from the historical La Cucina Futurista by Marinetti and Fillìa (1930). First superexciting stop: La Triennale di Milano (September, 24th-30th 2015).

Pick Me Up London Mix

Some late pictures from last PICK ME UP FESTIVAL - Somerset House, London - 22nd April / 4th May. We were lucky enough to be part of it!

Great daily talk programme, bursting workshops, quality exhibition, neat organisation, nice people, nice textures and outfits spotted between soooooooo many visitors!

SF at Pick Me Up London

It's been a while since we were at PICK ME UP FESTIVAL - graphic arts festival at the magnificent Somerset House in central London - from 22nd April to 4th May. Great time at Come On Kids 2 - Fare un libro, Venetian edition at Fondazione Querini Stampalia. The event has been a full 2-day about kids, design and books, organized by Giorgio Camuffo and Unibz - Libera Università di Bolzano. 

Pastrami Sandwich - Krachtvoer

Really happy to have participated to Krachtvoer, a super nice festival in Antwerp about food, illustration, design and much more.
Caterina made the illustration for the "Pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut on false flax seed bread".

Spollo Kitchen

This is our yummy contribute to Spollo Kitchen project, by CTS grafica, in collaboration with AIAP, ADCI and Polyedra. Our illustration has been selected, cooked (by Osteria Il Gufo, Perugia), photographed, tasted and exhibited in two special events in Rome and Milan (next 24th October).

Fondamenta 3.0 / Identity

Our design for the event and exhibition Fondamenta 3.0 - La Sensa (31st May 2014) composed by poster, card, map, website, signage, decoration and set-up elements. This was the 2nd edition of the Venetian public art event that transforms the space of Fondamenta della Misericordia in an interactive playground, involving diverse artists and associations.
